Traveling in Crete

Update of the conditions for opening up to tourism applicable since May 14, 2021.

The entry requirements are as follows:

Present a vaccination certificate (the second dose must have been taken 14 days before your trip) OR a PCR test of less than 72 hours.

You must also complete the downloadable online PLF form. Random checks can be made upon arrival.

As far as car travel within Greece is concerned, there are no restrictions.

For ferry trips between the islands you will need to show your vaccination certificate or PCR test result.

Wearing a mask is compulsory both outdoors and indoors, in public spaces.

A curfew is in effect from 12:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. The terraces of the bars and restaurants are open and the bars stop serving at midnight. At the moment, music is not allowed there, but that should change soon.

I will keep you informed as soon as new changes take place.
