The place is delightful and cut off from the world. The water and the superb light! From the beach, you gradually reach a drop-off which offers infinite depth and visibility. Between Canyons and rocky areas, passing through areas of sand with high algae, this site offers a range of different landscapes. Accessible to divers and beginners alike.
Fauna and Flora
From Groupers to Nudibranchs
From the beach and in shallow areas our pretty, very colorful Peacock Wreaths, Mediterranean Parrots and shy but cute Blennies are legion. A few perfectly camouflaged octopuses and generous sponges housing small nudibranchs. With depth, scorpionfish and lionfish become more and more numerous. Sea cicadas and groupers then make their appearances, overlooked by nearby schools of sardines.
PROGRAM
On the southern road
Located 50 minutes from the diving school. Two successive dives are generally offered (with a break of around fifty minutes between the two). As we generally finish the dive around 1:30 p.m., we suggest a stop at the local tavern for a bite to eat and refreshment. It’s always very friendly and in Crete for little money you eat very, very well!
